When a visitor clicks on the link to the Details view, you have options in setting up that view to your liking. Not all churches use the Details view - I always published the notes of my Bible studies using this view.
Details View
The first tab has all the options available to you on the Details View. They include:
- Whether there should be a Print button
- The text to display for the link that returns a vistor to the List View.
- Where (or whether) to show the Related Studies link. Related Studies are derived from an algorithm which we are always refining. The formula loads all the words in a study text field, topics, and metadata - removes common words - then compares it to the current study text. If there is a high correlation, the study is deemed related.
- You can show a link to your podcast file if you're using one
- Decide if you want to process content plugins in the details of a study text. This could do things like turn Bible references into links to the actual verses using a Joomla plugin, or any installed and published Content plugin.
- We offer a built-in way to show Bible verses referred to in the details - and you can set the parameters of that here.
- If you use social media links, you can show them on the page.
- If you use comments, the settings are located here.
