The Christian Web Ministries Team is proud to announce Proclaim 10.7.0 — now available for production use!
What's new in Proclaim 10:
- Protected media storage now works end to end — Proclaim serves files from your protected folder instead of linking to them, so a restricted study stays restricted
- Move a file into protected storage from inside Proclaim, instead of moving it on the server by hand
- Your podcast feed no longer exposes protected files, and System Health tells you if a feed is set up to try
- The restricted-media list now explains why each file is on it and what state it is in
- Choosing a server type no longer reloads the page — the fields swap in place and anything you have already typed survives
- Fixed: the setup wizard could fail to create your podcast on sites upgraded from older versions, without saying so
- Fixed: a visitor could see an error page instead of a message, and titles with accented or non-Latin characters were being corrupted
- Security: the podcast enclosure check now verifies TLS, so the details written into your feed cannot be tampered with in transit
- Scripture passages that span chapters (for example Genesis 1:26-2:3) now return verses correctly, and removing translations no longer hangs
- Play and download counts are now recorded only when the visitor could actually access the media, so your statistics reflect real listens
